When we work with a new client, we first focus on defensive strategies:

• Backup and Disaster Recovery - we support a range of products and techniques for backup. Check out our latest disaster recovery technology. Each is designed to fit a different technology and budget. The most effective backups today combine local NAS backup with offsite backups. The local NAS backup device can also double as a hot backup server using virtualization technology. If one of your servers should fail, the server backup image on the NAS can be "booted" up and you are back up and running in less than one hour!
• Security / Firewall - Is your business data secure? We provide security services that protect a business from outside attack and just as important they provide protection from mistakes within. For example: if an employee types in a Google search and clicks on a bad link, the result can be disastrous causing virus damage and data loss. A good business class firewall can protect your business from this and also keep your employees off of personal sites like MySpace.com if that is your policy.
• Antivirus / Spyware - Antivirus and Spyware is well known as a threat to businesses. We highly recommend a network based software package that has central administration and licensing. This reduces the chance of having one or two licenses that are out of date, provides a single application to check the status of all systems on your network and they are generally cheaper per computer per year than retail or online personal products.
